okay, so the x factor winner's single is hallelujah - im all for defending the fact that alexandra's interpretation is solid and good, but i just saw someone say they preferred her version to jeff buckley's.

i can't stand for that. the day jeff buckley's version is not touted as the best is the day i die.
and i also fucking read somewhere that jeff buckley's cover is crap. (it was written by some upperclass twat in the guardian letters section). you won't find a version with better range, soul or emotion as jeff buckley's. it's amazing.
listening to his version of hallelujah is being drugged on opiate.
it is mellow yet powerful and soft yet strong.
it is a big fat beautiful oxymoron.
